PoE12-60W/ 5G PoE++ Injector

As the demand for connectivity from network devices such as IP phones, IP cameras and access points increases, so does deployment complexity and cost. To reduce cable consumption and investment, Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology provides both data connection and electrical power to devices over a single cable without the limitations of power outlets. Equipped with the advantages of PoE technology, Zyxel's PoE injectors, PoE12-30W and PoE12-60W, all provide super-fast LAN connectivity with a large power budget; easily connecting to PoE devices via Cat 5e or higher cable. PoE12-60W supports PoE+ and PoE++ standards respectively, provides interoperability with other standard PoE-enabled devices.

Higher network speed improves network performance

The PoE12-60W is here to meet the increasing connection demand for high-speed network devices such as WiFi 6 APs, monitoring PTZ camera or advanced POS terminals. The PoE12-60W is equipped with 1G/2.5G/5G RJ-45 ports providing network speeds of up to 5 Gbps. This model can connect Multi-Gigabit devices using existing Cat 5e cable without the additional cost of changing cabling.

A larger power budget allows more PD devices to be powered.

The PoE12-60W is compliant with the IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standard and provides a PoE power budget of up to 60 W respectively. This model ensures interoperability and compatibility with other standard PoE-enabled devices. It facilitates installation to extend the wireless LAN, offering an alternative to external DC power for access points while the network implements only non-PoE Ethernet switches.

Easy to use with robust protection

Installation is extremely easy, simply connect the Injector to the Ethernet switch and to the designated PoE device to ensure adequate power and data flow across the network. The compact and lightweight design is easy to install and facilitates the installation of PoE devices where electrical sockets are not available. Both PoE injectors are equipped with overload and short-circuit protection, which cuts power immediately in the event of these problems without causing damage to the equipment.
