Quality first
- Temperature resistance - The effect of high and low temperatures on the resistance of the protection circuits and the electrical parameters of the power supply is tested.
- Electrical test - Testing the correct electrical connections between the various components of the power supply.
- Short-circuit and overvoltage test - The response of the PSU's protection systems to a short circuit and a sudden voltage surge simulated by applying a high-voltage pulse at the PSU's input is tested.
- Final test - The output voltage level of the power supply is tested by subjecting it to an hour's continuous load.
