Supports USB DisplayPort alternative mode for transmitting video signals. With a source device that also supports USB DisplayPort Alternate Mode, you can transfer video from the primary display to another, duplicate the same image on both displays, or change the second display to the primary.

Transmits crystal clear 4K HDMI video and digital audio. To output Ultra High Definition digital audio and video to a 4K-capable HDMI TV, projector or monitor, connect the HDMI port to the display with an HDMI cable (sold separately). The HDMI port supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 30 Hz, as well as 36-bit Deep Color (12 bits per channel), 7.1-channel surround sound and HDCP 1.4. The universal USB-C adapter is backwards compatible with non-4K HDMI displays.
