It uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, which has undergone over 15 years of clinical testing around the world. This scientifically proven technology ensures fast and lasting results. During epilation, flashes of intense, pulsating light reach the surface of the skin, where they act on the dark pigment of the hair. This thermal effect effectively and painlessly destroys the hair from the roots and prevents its regrowth. With regular and correct use, you will get smooth skin for up to several months.

500,000 pulses

The lifetime of the epilator reaches 500,000 light pulses. This means that if you regularly epilate body parts such as legs, underarms and bikini area and follow the recommended intervals between treatments, the light pulses will accompany you for a lifetime. These are average calculations based on the results of a test group of women (size M, height approx. 165 cm, weight approx. 60 kg).

The UV disinfection base ensures hygienic cleanliness of the device

The epilator is equipped with a disinfecting base, thanks to which the application surface of the device will be hygienically clean and ready for further use in a few minutes. It uses ultraviolet radiation technology that reliably eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria and prevents their further reproduction. Once the epilator has cooled down, simply wipe the rest of the epilator with a damp cloth. Put the clean device in the case and store it.

Free wireless operation

The IL5000 IPL epilator gives you maximum freedom of movement. You can even use it without a cable, which you will appreciate especially when traveling. With a fully charged battery, the epilator will deliver up to 1,350 flashes on the lowest setting and up to 500 flashes on the highest setting. If it runs out during the treatment, just plug it into the socket and you can continue working.

2 modes for comfortable body epilation

The IL5000 IPL epilator is suitable for removing hair from all over the body. You can use two modes. Gliss mode is used to epilate larger areas such as legs, hands, chest, back, etc. The epilator emits continuous flashes in a row for a faster and smoother treatment. The Precision mode can be used to remove hair from the hardest-to-reach and most sensitive areas such as the face, underarms, bikini area, etc. The device emits single pulses based on pressing the trigger button. In this mode, we recommend the use of additional magnetic attachments (face + bikini), with which you can aim more precisely at the selected place.

Who is the IPL epilator for?

Epilation with an IPL epilator is most effective on people with lighter skin and darker hair containing dark pigment, therefore hair removal is more effective. The lighter the hair and the darker the skin type, the less effective the IPL epilator is.

How to use the IPL epilator correctly?

The skin you are going to epilate must be clean, dry and shaved before using the IPL epilator. Choose one of five light intensity levels suitable for your skin type - the lighter the skin phototype, the higher the selected intensity level (recommended intensity levels for individual phototypes are described in more detail in the manual). Press the epilator application area against the skin. When the button is pressed, the device emits a light pulse. Avoid releasing more than one pulse on the same part of the skin in one treatment. You may feel a slight warmth or tingling sensation during epilation, but it should not be painful under any circumstances. If you feel pain, it is necessary to reduce the intensity of the radiation.

Eye protection sensor

The IPL epilator has a built-in safety sensor that prevents the epilator from sending a pulse if the epilator is aimed at a free space. Thanks to this sensor, the device will only work properly when the application surface is in full contact with the skin. The use of the device is therefore safe and there is no risk of eye damage, thanks to which you do not need to use special protective glasses during depilation. For facial hair removal, we recommend that you close your eyes during the flash. This will prevent minor glare comparable to the power of a camera flash, which is not a health risk, but can be unpleasant.

The first effects after 4 weeks of use

Epilation results may vary from person to person depending on the body part being treated, hair color and method of application. Already after 4 weeks of regular use, you can notice the first effects on the skin. If you are new to hair removal, we recommend performing the first 4 treatments 2 weeks apart. Then repeat the epilation every 4 weeks until you achieve the desired effect.

Don't wait for summer

If you want beautifully smooth skin in the summer, start epilating well in advance. The skin must not be exposed to sunlight for at least 4 weeks before and at least 2 weeks after using the IPL epilator. Protect your skin from the sun during the entire procedure. Sun exposure means being in direct sunlight without protection for about 15 minutes or exposure to indirect sunlight without protection for 1 hour. If you have applied a self-tanning cream to your skin, wait until the tan effect disappears completely. The IPL epilator can be used by men and women over 18 years of age.

When not to use an IPL epilator

The IPL epilator must not be used on tattooed body parts, places with permanent make-up, freckles, birthmarks and other dark discolorations. Cover these areas thoroughly before use. At the same time, IPL hair removal is not recommended for people with very sensitive skin, with skin diseases, with a high incidence of red veins, varicose veins, or pregnant and breastfeeding women. If you are unsure whether IPL hair removal is right for you, consult a dermatologist or doctor. The device is not suitable for men's beard removal.
