The innovative BRITA MicroDisc filter with Pure-Taste Technology: the disc is made of activated carbon produced from coconut shells, which provides cleaner water with a fresh taste.

The BRITA MicroDisc filters out:

• Chlorine and other substances that negatively affect taste,
• Micro-particles of 30 um,
• Trace contaminants such as certain pesticides, herbicides and hormones (if present in tap water).

Minerals such as calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) are passed through the filter and remain retained in the water.
